Kerry and Dean were high school sweethearts, first meeting while registering for classes at ASU during their senior year of High School. Kerry was born in New York City and moved to Arizona as an infant, and graduated from Shadow Mountain High School. They were married in 1995. Kerry graduated from ASU with a political science degree and was awarded the school’s highest honor, the Moore Award. She worked for the City of Phoenix for the past five years.
